Será a 20 de Setembro que os Emmys serão entregues aos melhores do pequenos ecrã para a temporada de 2008/2009 e ontem foram anunciadas as nomeações. Destaque para a nomeação de "Family Guy" a Melhor Série Comédia, onde até agora só os "The Flinstone" tinham sido a única animação a obter tal honra. as nomeações são as seguintes:

As donas de casas mais conhecidas da televisão preparam o terreno para a nova temporada de "Desperate housewives", que irá regressar no dia 27 de Setembro. Com a partida da actriz Nicollette Sheridan (Edie Britt) do elenco princípal, irão entrar novos actores com papel regular na 6ª temporada. A actriz Maiara Walsh, que participou no último episódio da 5ª série, recebeu lugar de permanência na série como a sobrinha de Carlos, Ana Solis. Entre as restantes novidades, destaque para a actriz Drea de Matteo, conhecida pelo seu papel de Gina na série "Joey", onde o mistério da temporada (que sempre existiu um mistério por série) irá envolver a sua família, recém-chegada a Wisteria Lane. A 6ª temporada irá marcar o regresso da família de Susan (actriz Teri Hatcher) ao bairro, com Richard Burgi e Andrea Bowen a regressarem como regulares nos seus papeis de Carl Mayer e Julie Mayer. Outro regresso à série é o actor Jesse Metcalfe, no papel de John Rowland, o jardineiro de Gabrielle, chegando ao bairro recém-divorciado e irá acabar por se envolver com a jovem Ana Solis. O actor irá entrar em 6 a 8 episódios com a possibilidade de passar a regular. A ver as coisas, este ano Wisteria Lane seré visita obrigatória durante todo o ano!
